News!!!!

I'm back!

I have been wanting to get back in to blogging but life has been so busy!

So many new and exciting things going on in my life right now. A few of the biggest things right now, in no particular order.....

- Mackenzie started Kindergarten

- Baby #3 due in December!

- Released our first iphone app! It's called Cartridge Checklist. Check it out www.cartridgechecklist.com

There are a few more things but I will be back to share those. Probably tomorrow.

Also, I am redecorating the blog as well....so don't mind the dust ;)

Not much to say

Mackenzie is on Spring break for the next 2 weeks. So excited, I feel like I get a little vacation when I don't have to drive her to and from school. We are going camping after Easter in Lake Havasu with our old roommate Scott and the kids. Can't wait!

It's so nice outside

Wow, I can't believe the weather down here in So Cal. It was in the 80's today, so nice! Josh found a hammock base off of craigslist for $30 and I just ordered the new fabric here, except our will be blue and green......

Can't wait to lounge in it!

Last night was Valentine's day, Josh and I took the kids to the grandparents and we went shopping and had dinner at Victoria Garden's. It was a nice day out. We were going to go to Pechanga to play poker but we decided to save the money and go pick up the kids. How lame is that? Can't even be without them for more that a few hours, haha!

Oh, I was just asked to join a new digital creative team....I am so excited. Her name is Amanda Carlson and she has some really cool designs. Check her out here: Amanda Carlson. I am finally getting back in to the swing of things as far as scrapping goes. My goal is to finish 2009 and get a book printed in the next few months before I move on to tackle any other year.

Decisions Decisions

This past week has been a little bittersweet. We have decided to take Mackenzie out of Cheerleading. The past couple have months have really been a struggle with her. Some days she loved going to practice and some days she would cry and complain about being there. On top of that all the competitions were really tough on her. We would have to wake up at 5:30 in the morning to be there and she is totally not a morning person. I was really torn on what to do because she really did enjoy it in the beginning. In the end we decided to pull her from the program. I am really sad because the people there were really becoming family because I practically saw them more times a week then I did my own. haha! Anyway, I can already see a difference in Mackenzie and she doesn't even talk about missing it.

Josh is working at a Scrapbook Convention show this weekend in Anaheim with his parents. So, I picked Mack up from school on Thursday and headed up there to spend the rest of the day with Josh. We went out to dinner and walked around downtown Disney. We had breakfast the next day and I was able to walk around the show for a little with the kids. It was nice to get away for even a little bit.

I left Anaheim at about 3, which was a big mistake because I somehow forgot it was Friday. The traffic was horrible. It took me 2.5 hours to make it to my parents house to drop of the kids. Then I headed down to Temecula to have dinner with the moms from cheer. So nice of them to still include me still :) Thanks girls! I needed a night out! By the time I picked up the kids and then drove home I was exhausted.

Josh will be home tonight! Can't wait to have a nice family day tomorrow!

MIA

Yes, I know. I have been missing for a long time! Life has been so busy that I rarely have time to stop and blog. I keep thinking about it and then I never sit down to actually do it. Then today, I got an email from my Uncle Rod......he basically wanted to know why I haven't blogged in like 4 month. So, here I am and I am going to try getting back in to it again.

So, I will try to catch you up.

Mackenzie is in Preschool 3 days a week at one of the most awesome preschools around. It is a Coop school so as a parent we are required to work about 3 days in the class a month. Which is awesome, I love it! I also volunteered to be our class rep. Which means I am on the board and attend meetings, help make decisions, etc. It's totally fun and I have met some great women doing it!

Mack is also in Cheerleading which is 2 days a week. But they have approx. 2 competitions a month which then they add in a few extra practices here and there. Wow,  lot for a 4 year old. School and Cheerleading is about 25 minutes away from where we live now. So needless to say, we are very busy and it seems like we are away from the house and the 2 boys a lot!

Lincoln, is almost 21 months now. Very very busy boy! He keeps me on my feet. He loves helping daddy around the property and acting like a big boy.

Let's see...what else, we went to Disneyland on Xmas Eve which was a blast! Josh turned the big 3-0 on New Year's Eve!!! Wow, we are getting old. And we are enoying the New Year so far!

1960 Terry Travel Trailer

So, I found this 1960 Terry travel trailer off of craigslist for $100 last week! What a steal!

The interior has almost been completely gutted :( It was used at a race track doing announcements. I was having the hardest time finding any info on this trailer until yesterday. I ran across a guy on ebay who has 1000's of archives on old vintage trailers. So, I purchased a custom CD with old brochures and info on this particular trailer. Can't wait to get it! My goal is to restore it to as close to original as possible and use it next summer for some fun trips!!

Other than that we have been trying to do some work round the property here. So much work and no time. I have been getting ALOT of work for my graphic design and Josh has been doing alot of odd and end jobs here and there. So, needless to say we have been very busy.

My BFF Emily will be coming in 2 weeks to visit! She is taking her first road trip by herself to come see us!! YAY! We have some good times planned.....can't wait!

Tire swing and rock painting

So one of the first project we have done around the house is built this tire swing for the kids! Of course there are so many BIG projects we want to do but this was a cheap one we could get done quickly!

Mack loved it!!!

and so did Lincoln!!

We have also painted rocks this summer. We have decided we are going to do this on a regular basis so we can have a rock garden with all of our painted rocks!
