So extremely busy lately, not much time for anything. So many things on my to do list that I want to get done but it just isn't happening right now.

Griffin is almost 2 months old already! Time sure is flying......he started smiling last week. I finally catured one on camera too :)

The weather has been so nice here lately, in the 70's and 80's. Can't wait for summer!

I actually did a layout!

Birth Story

Baby's Name: Griffin Douglas Summers
Date of Birth: November 28, 2010 @ 4:11pm
Original Due Date: December 12, 2010
Weeks Pregnant: 38 weeks exactly
Weight: 6 lbs 13 oz
Height: 19 1/4" inches

Birth Story:

I started throwing up on Saturday afternoon. I finally got the "flu" bug that was going around the family. Called my doctor and he told me to go in L&D to make sure I wasn't gettting dehydrated. Went in about 6:00pm, they pumped me full of fluids and monitored the baby all night. They were going to send me home around 2am but the babies heartrate was not reacting like they would have liked. It was dropping everytime I would have a contraction.

The next morning they ordered an in depth ultrasound to make sure baby was ok and the doctor told me that if everything checked out ok he was going to send me home. I started crying and getting very emotional, I was so done and ready to have this baby. When the nurse told me the results of my ultrasound were 8/8 I was so dissapointed. She new I was done and ready and asked me "If you had one wish on your Christmas list what would it be?" I said "to have this baby today". She said "ok" and said I am going to call the doctor and let him know the results of the ultrasound and let him know what it going on.

She came back with a big smile and said "Ready to have a baby?!?!?" OMG!!! I started crying!!! I was so relieved. The babies heartrate was still not reacting properly and she let the doctor know that she does not feel comfotable sending me home. He agreed and the c-section was scheduled for 3:00. Well, 3:00 came and went because someone else had an ememrgency c-section and needed to go before me. Finally at 4:00 they came in and got me.

We didn't know the sex of the baby but I always had this gut feeling that it was a boy. When the baby came out my hubby says "Mommy was right!" and I just started crying! I was one of the best moments of my life. I could not be happier to have my little one here already!

Wow, I have been sooooo busy I totally forgot to post my layout from Wednesday. This layout was made using this template: Found here. Only $1.99!!

We have a HUGEEEEE project being released in the next few weeks and we have so much work to do. Finding it hard to juggle everything at the moment. Work, kids, me time, hubby, and getting ready for the baby. Tomorrow we will officially only have 3 weeks left!! I am so excited I can not wait!!!!!!

I was having contractions last night every 7 minutes apart. I drank a ton of water and layed down and they didn't stop. Probably went on for about 4 hours. I finally text DH who was out of town about 8 hours away for work. (He was supposed to be coming home early this morning).....as soon as he heard he headed straight to the airport and got on a plane 15 minutes later and was home in an hour and 30 minutes. We headed to labor and delivery and I received 2 shots to stop the contractions....I was only a dimple dialated.....they sent me home 2 hours later!! haha! So frustated. I am officially 35 weeks along today. Exactly 4 week until my scheduled c-section.....time is so going to drag!

This is what I did with it :) This was Halloween last year.

Halloween was a lot of fun.....met up with Josh's sister and her family and went trick-or-treating. Josh leaves today for his last Scrapbook Expo of the year!!! So Excited that he will be home for the rest of the year. That means that baby #3 will be here soon too :) I have 4.5 weeks left until my scheduled c-section date. But, I will be full term in 2.5 weeks.....soooo....I hope that maybe the baby will make an ealier appearance. That would be nice!!!!!
